I am Ray Lucas and I work at the Troy Museum, I do not have any information Tracy & Alice's family but I do have information on Charles E. Hadsell.
On the 1860 census:

Other in this household are Mary age 35, Martha age 25, Leonard age 30 farmer, Cornelia age 18 attending school, Willis and Lois Clark age 6 all born MI and Moses Lemon age 40 laborer born KY.
On the 1870 census Charles age is 22 at home, living with Mrs Martha age 67 born NY, Mary age 44, Martha age 34 Joseph age 27 and Cornalia Pearce age 27.
On the 1880 census Charles age 32 married to Arvilla age 30, daughters Anna age 3 Alice age 1.
On the 1900 census Charles age 51 born Nov 1848 Farmer married to Arvilla age 45 born July 1854 she had 3 children 2 living, and daughter Alice M. age 20 born Oct 1879.
