Try cantacting the Oakland County Pioneer and Historical Society.
They do have a book they can look in for those years, and earlier; some early marriage records came from a request, to ministers and JPs, from the county to send in early marriage records for official recording- called "Marriage Returns", and I believe there are three books of those in use. The Pioneer Society formed in the late 1800's in Pontiac and has very good resources, records and researchers.
If it's not there, you may want to find a researcher at the Flint Library, Historical Library in Lansing; or search for a website like "Groveland Library", or a township library. Have you seen the 1870 census to find where they lived for sure? It's online at the Library of Mich. website. The 1880 census is online at the Latter Day Saints website.
