Hi Angel!
Don't know if you're aware of a new, free resource just launched, but in it I found a "Phenia MASON" who died in Grand Rapids, Kent county. States she was born April of 1830, born in NY. father was Solomon GERE from France, and mom was Johanna LEWIS from England. INformant was a Mr.s HOLT. This Phenia is buried in St. Andrews Cemetery in grand rapids. SHe died in October of 1917.
The actual death certificate can be seen at Michiganseeking.org. You are looking for the death certificate database.
