Looking for info on the Burt Family in Michigan.
This is what I have so far:
Nathaniel S Burt was born in 1789 in Windsor Co. Vermont. He married Rhoda Waterbury (1799-1874). He died in 1869 in Montcalm Co. Michigan.
In 1823 they had a son named William. He was born in St Lawerance Co. New York. He married Mary Burnett (1832-1873). He died in 1863 in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. I have no proof, but I would guess it was in a battle of the Civil War.
IN 1855 William had a Daughter named Mary Belle Burt. She was born in Ohio. IN 1871 She married Henry Percell(18522-1911) In 1928 She died in Gratiot Co., Michigan
The most interesting mystery about this family is that all of them are buried in Carson City Cemetary in Michigan except for Mary belle Burt. Even her father who died in Tennessee.
