I am looking for the parents of James Duval. Here is what I know.
1850, James, age 14 was living with Hilliard Duval, age 26. Hilliard and his family were living with his parents Stephen and Margaret Duval in Monroe Twp.
1860, James, age 25, m. to Catherine, age 22, living in Monroe Twp.
1870, James age 34, m. to Catherine, age 32, living in Monroe.
1880, James, age 44, m. to Kate, age 42, living in Monroe.
Monroe Obit. Index has an obit for Mrs. Catherine Duvall, age 62, wife of James and daughter of Louis Suzore, died 21 May 1900.
1900, James, age 65, widower, living in Monroe
On 23 Jul. 1900, James Duval, age 64 married Hannah Hathaway at St. Mary's in Monroe. His parents were given as Stephen Duval and Agnes Gaynier. (A Stephen Duval actually married Margaret Gagnier in 1833. Denissen gives their 1st child as Stephen, who was born in 1836 and who married Catherine Suzor, daughter of Louis Suzor. Are Stephen and James the same person?)
1910, James,age 75, m2, Hanna, age 73, living in Monroe.
Monroe Obit. Index has an obit for James Duvall, age 83, husband of Catherine Suzore. He died 25 March 1916.
