I have a Mary Ann Saylor b in Maryland @1750.

Check GenForum under ZINN, George Washington b 1742. He married Mary Ann. It seems to me that I also read a quote [possibly from a history of the Zinn's] stating that a George Zinn b 1777 in Germany came by boat to the US. Onboard, he met Mary Ann Saylor who was accompanied by her brother, SAYLOR. They later married. I believe what I read was citing a ships passenger list.

I'm writing to get a copy of the Zinn book and will look it up when it arrives.

The Mormon Library is a good resourceas well

There was no first name for the brother.

Watch the dates of the George Zinn's and Mary A's of this end of the Zinn's. There are several throughout the cousins/ grandchildren and is confusing. Even Zinn progeny are embattled over who is married to whom. [All in good fun!] :)

Perhaps you can trace the lineage from the far the past to where you are now. I'd be interested in what you find, since Mary Ann Saylor is in my lineage. I'll continue to look for the parents of her and her brother. If you do connect him to your lineage, let me know and we'll share info.
:) PJ
