Muskegon is on the western side of Michigan and Sault STe. Maire is in the upper penisula by the Canadian border. I am in the south east part of Michigan. I suggest you write to the county clerks for these. If you need addresses, email me and I'll send them. In 1886 not all marriages got recorded. You also might check church records. I assume they were Catholic and I'm not sure what exists along that line.
