About 10 years ago I talked with a lady in Ulster County, NY who was a VanSteenburg descendant. She had researched a majority of the VanSteenburg lines. She was quite old then and I would assume she has passed away. Try contacting the Ulster County Genealogical Society to see if she donated her information. Maybe you will be lucky and make many connections.
