Campbells of Ithaca, MI, early 1900s

I am searching for any information about the Campbell family of Ithaca, MI, in the early 1900s. It is the missing link to my grandfather's paternity. My grandfather is Glenn Webb, born in 1917 to Edith Mae Grandy. His adoptive father was Roy Webb, but his biological father was a Campbell who lived next door to his mother's family. I was told that Mr. Campbell served jail time around the time of my grandfather's birth. Any information would be greatly appreciated, as my family only recently found out that we are not genetically Webbs.
