Marriage of Titanic victim
Posted by: Lynn Pauley (ID *****6179) Date: October 01, 2013 at 16:14:17

Albert A. Stewart born 1848 (age 41) married Florence Coe born 1858 (age 31)on June 27, 1889 in Detroit, Michigan. This according to Michigan Marriages, 1822-1995 index from FamilySearch.org.

I just found out a week or so ago that Florence, who I thought was Albert's 2nd wife was actually his 3rd wife. I am now trying to find out if he divorced his 2nd wife or if she died.

Most of his life, Albert went by A. A. Stewart.

He was on the Titanic when it sank and did not survive. I am doing research on him because he was from my town.

Would anyone be willing to check the original marriage record in Detroit to see if there is anymore information (Albert listed as a widow or divorced, etc.) that might help me find out more information about his 2nd wife.

Thank you

Lynn
