Where I need help is finding help with my (Paternal) grandfather Lars Gustaf Nilsson (aka) "Gust Nelosn". who immigrated several times back and forth from Sweden settling, via Ishpeming the last time and settling in Calumet, MI. Two sons followed Viktor Larsson and Karl Enander Larsson( aka, Charlie Nelson) to Ishepeming, MI. Then all on to Calumet,MI. After a while both of his sons left for Nagaunee, Michigan. Lars G, stayed in Calumet because of failing health.
Lars Gustaf Nelsson (aka, "Gust Nelsom") belonged to a Swedish benevolent association known as the SUS of America Lodge #13 in Calumet. From a Swedish family Bible we have been told he died in Michigan 13 Nov.1906 Given to his sons was a memorial ribbon from SUS of A #13 Calumet Lodge, MI. Any confirmation on his death, when, where he is buried. Because of the name changes that our Swedes made sometimes makes ift difficult. My urgency is a family member from Lars people in Sweden is ill and would like to know if I can get this information. It should be so simple!
I put alot of information in this message. Perhaps it will help, and it would be wonderful in the process that I might run into a new cousin or two as I have in the past.
Any Help you can give,Thank you! Thank you! so much
