thanks for the information. The Eliza J. you mentioned who died in 1913 was my gr. grandmother. I am now looking for the death of her mother, Eliza Hill McSherry, in Ontario, prior to 1857. Her husband, Peter, married a Mary Langevin on 12-2- 1857 in (I think) Hastings Co. Ontario, so I'm "assuming" Eliza Hill McSherry had died by then, as it was very unusual to be divorced. thanks again.
