- Wm E Rossiter married in 1912 to Lillian Remington. Parents Charles and -phia Turner (presumably Sophia).
They also show up on the 1900 census (as Rossetter), which shows that Charles and Sophia were married around 1880 and came to the US in 1882 with eldest son Alfred b. 1879. A further six children were born in Michigan, including William, and Sophia had two children who were deceased by 1900.
Charles' mother Elizabeth was living with them but had only come to the US in 1899.
freebmd.rootsweb.com shows the marriage - Charles Rosseter and Sophia Turner in 1880 in Chorlton district (Lancashire).
They are on the 1881 census together:

The family later moved to Minnesota and Charles and Sophia both died there, you can see their deaths here under "Rossetter" again:

"Mr Charles Rossetter" in 1931 and Sophia in 1933.
You can go back in the English records - I think the Rossetters go back to William and Mary who are Irish immigrants to Manchester. However, there's no much point going too far back unless you can confirm that the William Rossetter/Rossiter who married Lillian Remington is the right one.
They may have also gone to MN as I find on the MN death index Clinton Rossetter with mother's maiden name Remington (b. 1913).
