Re: Gadd/Maynard
Dear Pam,
There is a passenger record for a Frank Gadd, age 40, male, married arriving at the Port of Quebec on 16 Sept. 1927 from Liverpool.Gives his address as 4?? Field Street, Detroit.Says that he was naturalized 12 Mar (could be May) 1925 in the Wayne County Circuit Court. Also on the passenger list is another Gadd at 432 Field St.Cannot read the given name but it looks a little like Maud but the sex is M.Person is married and 50 something (not legible) and naturalized through marriage on 3 January 1925. They are listed one after the other. If you have a subscription to Ancestry, you can see this record.

A Maude Gadd is also on this passenger list.
The 1920 census shows that both Frank and his wife worked for a private family and that they rented.Maybe they changed jobs or lost them.Maybe Minnie died.If she died in Detroit, you can ask the Burton Historical Collection (BHC) of the main Detroit Public Library to look for her death on the index that they have.
