Eastlicks of Michigan

Starting with William Eastlick (b.1810, Steuben Co. NY) and his wife Sally Olds who settled in Washtenaw about 1848 via Crawford County, PA, and who was followed by his brother John (b.1793, NJ) & his wife Margaret Hawkins (b. 1797 Dutchess Co., NY) to Palmyra Twp, Lenawee abt. 1858 via Trumbull County, OH. John had moved to Leslie Twp, Ingham County, by 1870. A widower, John married Sarah Huntoon of Leslie in 1873--he 79, she 69. John died in Jackson City in 1881 in the care of his daughter Charlotte Ellis. My line was John's son David and his wife Caroline Miller. My father was Edward Eastlick who married Maggie Glazier in Gratiot County in 1900 and who married Marie Smith-Cunningham of Ithaca in 1914 and my mother Anne McEachern (of Texas) in Saginaw in 1925. Thet removed to California in 1926 and where I born in 1927. Yep. Dad got a child bride and I got an already old dad. Explains why I'm still around, trying to link up with all the Eastlicks/Easlicks that ever were.. Lafayette, Wheeler, and Ithaca were towns associated with the many Eastlicks of Gratiot County. Associate families are Muscotts, Olds, Osborne, Ellis, Burch, Lamb, Huntoon, Goodrich, McCracken, Peake, Smith, Cunningham (Cummings?), Glazier. Neal, Thayer, and others. I have a lot of data that I would love to share.
