Dear Georgia,
Thanks so much for the reply on the Cain/Vanderhoff families. I did go back this morning and check LDS and also ancestry.com and I did see where she was marked Married, Widowed and Divorced! I also noticed that John M Cain (Anna's brother) is also enumerated in her household. HUMM!! I thought that was unusual beacuse in the census listing on LDS and Ancestry they both put him at the bottom of the census at the age of 21 and He should have been the first son on Peter and Elizabeth's list according to age. So I am not sure now if John is the head of household for Anna and Anna is living in his home next to her parents. That would seem logical but genealogy isnt always logical! (SMILE) Thank you for the hints as far as the grave sites and death records I will definatly look farther into it! I was thinking he died too, but couldnt find any other Vanderhoof in the area to maybe look to see if it was his parents. I must say this is definatly a odd census. Thanks again Georgia and I will keep digging. Ann Mongar
