Hi Jan:
I have been working with the Trahan Family in Bay City and in Troy Michigan, and have pretty well determined that they descend from Edouard Trahan and Jeanne Bedard of St Roch de Quebec, Quebec.
Additionally, the other Trahan Families in that area descend from Isadore Trahan and his wife Evelyn Deslongchamp.
There are also two Trahan Families in the Detroit area that migrated north from Louisiana for work around 1900.
