Your local LDS Family History Center can order them for you, or if you're close to Saginaw, Detroit, or Lansing you can search them at the major libraries. In Saginaw, the Hoyt Library has them. Detroit Public Library/Burton Historic Collection has them available. In Lansing, you can go to the Library of Michigan/Michigan Archives (co-joined buildings) and review them there. If you go to Lansing, you'll also have access to Declarations of Intent and Naturalization petitions.

I'm sure the 1854 census records are probably available through Interlibrary loan. So you can check with your local library to see if they can order them for you. The 1874 Michigan Census was indexed and is available in book form, but I don't remember ever seeing the others indexed and bound.

Hope this helps. If you ever need a hand or some direction, just let me know. Have been at this for 27 years, so can probably figure out where to go next.

Happy hunting.
