Barclay family from Scotland

My family originally came from Dundee, Scotland, then moved to Glasgow in the 19th century and then to the US and Canada

William Barclay, a the landscape artist in Dundee, married Agnes Smith on 6 Nov 1846 and one of their sons, James (born 21 Jan 1861), became a cabinet maker and moved to Glasgow. He married Jean Blair McFarlane in 1883 and they had about 16 children! - 2 girls and 14 boys. Many of the boys emigrated to the USA or Canada (eg James went to Asbury Park, Detroit, Michigan). The two girls remained in Scotland - one of them was Agnes (Nan), born 13 Sept 1894, who married Robert Lockhart Dunn in Sept 1913. They had 6 children, one of whom was Ninian, my father.

Does anyone over there in Michigan have any connection?

All the best
Jimmy
