Hi Thomas! The main married name that I know of Rose, was Powless.married in 1910. My g-grandfather's name: David John Powless of the Bay of Quinte Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory. (Deseronto, Ontario). I also have recieved a marriage license for a Rose Hannah Hawkins, married to George Nephan of Colborne, Ontario in 1908. No idea where he went, or why such a short marriage, nor if this is actually her. Although it appears to have been.
Once she moved to Michigan in the 1919's, she is shown in the 1920 Census as being married to Thomas J. Collick, also of England, but naturalized as an American. The census has the wrong last names of all her children as well as their birth places. Aslo, she was never married to Thomas Collick. I am not sure of the reason for this, however, I do know he was married before living with Rose, and then married again after living with Rose. (not sure of the dates though. Thankyou so much for your response... Debbie
