I am looking for a man known as Edward Shank that lived in Remus Michigan area in 1885 or so. He was my great grandfather. My great grandma was born Adah Aldrich in Mecosta-daughter of Hazen and Eliza Aldrich. My grandmother's name was Bertice Shank. She and Adah lived in Isabella county in the 1900 census. They worked in the lumbercamp-Decker's. Any help would be appreciated. I know Ed was a farmer somewhere further west in later years.I do not know where he was from-or where he died. I think he died in the 1950's-possibly the late 40's. Does anyone have any ideas? Bertice's birth certificate was destroyed in a fire in Remus or Mecosta. I am not sure where Ada and Edward were married. Thanks! Penny
