Obit -- 1/2/1956 Kalamazoo Gazette -- Kalamazoo Co., MI -- LaDuke, Leo, 612 Jenks Blvd. Passed away Sunday AM in Mercy Hosp., Jackson, MI. Mr. LaDuke was b. 1/15/1888 in Big Rapids, MI, s/o Nelson & Julia LaDuke. He moved w/his parents to Lawrence, MI, while a small child & was a farmer there all his life until his retirement a year ago. He was a lifelong member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Ch., Hartford, MI. He was m. in 1920 to Margaret Sheridan who survives. Other survivors include a son, Thomas E., of Chicago; 4 daus, Mrs. Frances Zannini, Waukegan, IL; Mrs. Mary Ellen Smith, Mrs. Marguerite Whitcomb, both of Kalamazoo, Miss Dorothy LaDuke of Nashville, MI, 1 sister, Mrs. Marie Hackett of Jackson, MI, a bro, Lawrence of Lawrence, MI; 9 grandchildren and several nieces & nephews. Friends will be received at the Donovan Funeral Home arter 7 this evening where the rosary will be recited at 8 Tuesday evening. Funeral services will be held at 10 Wed. AM at St. Mary's Ch., Paw Paw. Burial will be in the family lot at St. Mary's Cemetery, Roserby will be recited at 8 Tues. (end)
