Kate Messmer/Schumann of Manistee, MI before 1935

I am researching the Messmer/Schumann family that located Manistee, Michigan. Kate was born around 1857, Burlington, Des Moines County, Iowa. She is the daughter of Dominick and Elizabeth Bek/Beck Messmer. Kate married a Schumann. From her half-sister’s obituary, it lists that Kate Schumann died before 1935 in Manistee, Michigan. Kate and Mary R. Schumann are sisters. I am interested in locating any information on this family. Any and all help is appreciated.
