Thanks for the idea, and I will try it again. Walter Winegar is in Utica Cemtery, but they have not been helpful with my inquiries in the past.
In fact, I was told during a phone call, a little over a year ago, that the Sexton there had died and they discovered he hadn't been keep ing records for decades. I have a g-Uncle, Conrad Eick, who I believe to have been buried there in 1941,( based on death certificate and obituary) but there is no marker and no cemetery record of the specific site, so I have had to consider him "lost to the ages".
