Does anyone have a clue of information on John Peter Clements?

John was born in Dutchess County, New York in about 1780. He moved to Michigan around 1830 and had several land transactions in Washtenaw County, though he is buried in Livinston County.

He had several children, including Ferris, Hiram, Moses, and Deborah Clements.
