Thanks again Patricia for your kind help. I am usually the one that is helping others and collecting data to send to them. This is unusual for me to be on the receiving end. I appreciate your time to look these facts up. I know who all the people are in the data you collected but did not know all the details you found and noted. Each little bit of data is helpful when it comes to reconstructing a family's whereabouts and their family members.
Two days ago I received a bit of interesting data from someone's file about Solomon Spaulding. They were quoting from a family genealogy book that had been written years ago. It says that Solomon drowned in Lake Erie on the family's way moving from New York to Michigan. This sounds like an explanation why no tombstone was found for him in the cemetery. He is either buried somewhere near where he drowned or his body was not recovered.
The son, Calvin, who's genealogical line I am researching, married a Melissa Hatt. I find some data about this family in the old database that someone gave me. I have not begun working with the data for the Hatt family at this time. I am still sorting out the Spaulding data I have acquired to verify the facts in this database.
Thanks again for your help. I appreciate it very much! You are very kind to help me.
