I found this, but it happened in 1910, Lenawee County, MI.
August 9, 1910, Daily Telegram, Adrian, Mich.
Fairfield Grange, no 278, met Saturday evening, August 6, with the overseer, R. M. Nash in the chair. A letter was read from J. W. Helme. It was voted to postpone our sports day for an indefinite time. Sherman Comstock was elected secretary. Mesdames, Lydia Morse, Dunbar,and Duryea were appointed to draft resolutions on the death of Elnora Morse and to drape the charter for 30 days. Forty-five were in attendance. Grange closed in form.
Mrs. Fred Morse's mother and sister are on their way from Washington to attend the funeral to be held at Ridgeville Church on Thursday, at 10AM.
