I can tell you that Maria Macomber is my 2xGreat Grandmother who married Henry F. Daly, also my 2xGreat Grandfather. One of their daughters was Josephine Emmaline Daly born: 24 May 1856 in Wisconsin (my Great Grandmother) who married George H. Oram Jr. Born: 21 Sep 1851 & were Married in June 1878. The following is a link: http://books.google.com/books?id=1qgDbFOnMbYC&pg=PA645&dq=%22George+Oram%22+%2BLenawee&hl=en&ei=JbcUTtD5D6ePsQKW2oXVDw&sa=X&oi=book_result&ct=result&resnum=1&ved=0CCkQ6AEwAA#v=onepage&q=%22George%20Oram%22%20%2BLenawee&f=false a historical narrative on George H Oram which also will chronicle the six children of John & Rhoda Macomber. The only disclaimer is the author of the source of the book, records their last name as Macamber. My grandmother, Dora Millicent Oram was born 2 Jan 1891 was very sure her mother & maternal grandparents last name was Macomber. She passed on Apr 1976.

Any other information concerning John & Rhoda Macomber would be helpful in my research. Did you confirm that Rhoda was in fact the daughter of Beriah Redfield? Also I am confused by the "John McCumber (1881 VT or MA)" & the "Rhoda (1889 CT)" comments you made in the above forum quote. Are those death years? or did you mean 1781 / 1789? I am assuming you meant the seventeen hundreds.
