Howard M Allen was born abt 1818 in Niagara Co., NY. He married Catherine Drake 13 Mar 1837 in London District, Middlesex Co., Ontario, Canada. I've been told Howard died Feb 1866 in Lenawee Co., MI. I don't know where he is buried or if there was an obituary.
The last census that he appears in is 1860 in Palmyra Twp, Lenawee Co. as H.M. Allen. His wife moved to Pottawatomie Co., Kansas where she died in 1900.
I don't know his father's name, but his mother's maiden name was Mary Moore. I hope someone can fill in some information for me. I would be ever so grateful.
