*On Feb. 5, 2002 I interviewed Albert Horn and he gave me this information.
*Albert married MARIE PLAMONDON born 1912 Lake Leelanaw, Michigan. Albert states he also had a sister named Alfreda. He said his brother Herman died at the age of 36 from pnemonia and his wife Marie (a school teacher) remarried to a Mr. Cars after Herman’s death and more children. He also had a brother Gilbert Horn who married a Louise Plount. Also he stated his mothers name was Alma Anderson Humelestad.
Albert remembers being told his Grandfather CARL HORN moved from Germany to New York……they heard of a place in Leelanaw County, Michigan called Gills Pier Lumber Mill that was hiring men to help logging and work at their lumber mill, so the family packed up and headed to the north country, Leelanaw, in search o work and a better life
