While looking for my Grandparents, Roy and Ethel Pease, in the census of 1900 and also 1910, each were found with a ANNA BROWN. The children of Roy and Ethel, my father HAROLD,MAYNARD AND LORRAINE were also listed in single fashion with only ANNA BROWN, of Leelanau County.
Who was she? Does anyone know if she owned the house where they lived in Leland, and they rented from her...? Are their any descendants of the BROWN family still in the area to help me with this???
