Yes, the parents of Jacob Norman Miller are James Miller and Elizabeth Bloomer. James Miller was born July 23, 1795 in Hunter Greene Co, NY and was the son of William Miller (from Portsmouth, England) and Margaret Brundage. Margaret's family were loyalists and William fought in the Rev war on the English side. Elizabeth Bloomer was born April 9, 1797 also in Hunter,NY, the daughter of Daniel Bloomer and Johanna Haines. The Bloomers go back to Robert Bloomer from England and the Haines family has interesting relatives back to England too--Haines and Bloomers came over in the 1600's. James Miller and Elizabeth went to Michigan and settled in Dryden and are buried there. I am from Margaret, sister to your Jacob Norman. If you ever find out anything on her husband Edward Smith (son of Henry B Smith b 1790)---Let me know!!!!!!!!I do have pictures and more information--also Miller pictures I cannot identify. I have been working on this line for quite some time now..Hope this helps!! Cousin Beverly
