Allen and Ira Smith come to Grand Praire

My ggreat Uncle wrote down oral history given to him by Ira Smith regarding some of Mr Smith's experiances in the Kalamazoo area starting in the fall of 1829.
Does anyone have any info on Ira Smith and his brother Allen? I found Ira and his wife Andelusia in the 1880 census, but where did Allen and his family go? Ira and Andelusia are also burried in West Cooper cemetery, but to be honest, I don't even know if this is the same Ira Smith from the journals my ggreat Uncle kept.

Also, if there are any decendants, they might like a copy of Ira's memories.
