My great grandfather, Eugene Wheelock Battershall married Mary Williams in December 1875 in Jackson County, Michigan. Eugene & Mary's 1st child was a daughter named Nellie. I just read your message and found it interesting, or thought there might have been a connection between Mary Williams and the Williams family you mentioned. Also Eugene's brother George was married to an Emeline Bassett who died around 1870/1872 in Hillsdale ? County, Michigan. Eugene & George's parents, Daniel & Minerva <Horton> Battershall also lived in the Oswego County, New York area before going to Parma, Jackson County, Michigan abt. 1860. Both Eugene & George and their families lived in Kalamazoo or Kalamazoo County at one time - they are both listed as living in Schoolcraft, Kalamazoo Co., Michigan in 1910. If you by any chance have info. on the above, I would really appreciate it. Thank you.
