So far, you are both so helpful my head is spinning with Raymonds! Thank you for jumping right in because it looks like it with take some experienced brains to find parents for this g-g-gm Matilda [Raymond] Cole, the lone Raymond in my database. However, as Jeanne mentioned in earlier posting: "in the FHL Film shows a John COLE m. Matilda WORLING, 1832, Salem, Essex co, MA. In my old paper file, I had found same on IGI, made note she may have been b. RAYMOND, widow of WORLING." Early on, I'd also noted IGI mention as possible Widow Worling nee Raymond or Widow Raymond nee Worling. Having no direct connection to MA, I filed Worling and continued looking for MI & NY origins.
Can you tell me if all of the MI Jackson co. 1850 census Raymonds are inter-related? It seems we are so close to finding Matilda's family here.
Have also discovered that the 'notify me of reply' has only happened on Jeanne's 1st reply and today on Viola's 1st repy; so I must keep checking in from time to time to keep up with you.
