My father Joseph G. LaRosa, owner of Suburban Furniture in Jackson, was robbed and kidnapped from the business sometime in the late 1950s. I was quite young when it happened and can't remember what year it took place. I've been told that an article appeared in the Jackson Citizen Patriot about the kidnapping. I've searched sporadically in the microfitch of old Citizen Pat newspapers at the Jackson Public Library but it's like searching for a needle in a haystack because stories aren't indexed. I don't live in Jackson any longer and would appreciate it if anyone would remember the incident and give me a time frame to search when I visit Jackson again.
