I'm trying to trace my ggrandfather and gggrandfather.
Fred J. Hale died in Dixon IL on Jan 18, 1909. His remains were taken to Jackson, Michigan, his former home. I believe that his father Alvin C. Hale was also buried there as he didn't travel with the rest of the family to Dixon in 1882.
Fred J. Hale--b. 14 May 1869 Sodus Point NY
m. 5 Dec 1893 Mary Kane Amboy IL
d. 1 Jan 1909 Dixon IL buried in Jackson MI
(no cemetary info)
Alvin C. Hale last known in Jackson Michigan
wife Mary A (Jones) Hale and son Horace K. Hale
I traced Mary and Horace to Holbrook Norfolk MA and lost the trail.
also can't find when died or where buried.
Could someone help me. I would like to visit their graves, if I can find them. Also any newspaper info would be appreciated.
Fred died when my grandma was 2 years old.
