I have also sent you an e-mail on this separately.

My connection is through Minerva's father, David D. Loomis (married to Caroline Riffenburg), through David's father Benjamin Loomis (married to Martha Denslow). My Minerva Loomis married Albert Taggart, and they were the parents of Albert L. Taggart. This Albert L. Taggart married Lottie LaVanway.

However, look at the following site for a probable connection to your Loomis:

This appears to discuss a possible brother to your Loomis. His name is William Loomis. Both are from Vernon in Isabella County MI and both originally from Erie PA. It is a guess, but it may provide a lead for you.
