The Weldon's show up in the 1952 Tawas Phone directory as well as in the Cedar Valley cemetery, the Oak Grove cemetery in South Branch and some 1st United Methodist church records, in a book that a friend of mine wrote regarding the Grant & Reno pioneers 1860-1900 as well as in a book regarding Reno History, a plat book for 1956 and a Iosco County Gazette article from 1900-1909, a 1906 Herald article, a 1927 Herald article, News Herald articles from 1941-1951 and an Oscoda Press article 1923, 3x5 obituary cards, a book published regarding those involved with the Hale schools, a yearbook from Hale for 1966, our surname registry, death records and marriage records and the Centennial Farms book also has Weldon's in it. They are listed in the Alcona Women Pioneers book, Gladwin Record newspaper obituaries, WW2 other counties and the Chipps family book.
Let me know if you would like to purchase a copy of the cd so you can determine how to go about obtaining the information you desire.
