In trying to find Selah Arms' mother - I found a Mahala (b. Canada) living with Selah's father (Selah Arms). Marietta Utter Griffin Arms has been listed as Selah's mother in various records but died before he was born. The census in 1860 listed Mahala. I can't find her anywhere after that date. Selah lived in Orange Township, Ionia Cty, in the 1850 & 1860 census records.
