Cindy,

Have you already checked with Alaidon Township (2021 W. Holt Rd, Mason MI) and or the state library regarding the Leek Cemetery records? It sounds like you have something to tell you that Sarah is definitely buried at Leek; in case you don't, keep in mind that sometimes a stone was placed because a child and or spouse is buried there, but the individual moved on and was buried elsewhere. The online listing for the Leek cemetery shows a listing for "Baby" Honey, s/o Washington & Sarah Honey, also no dates.

Also, you may have already tried this, but if Sarah survived Washington, perhaps she filed for a pension based on his civil war service? If so, that record might indicate when she died.

Misc notes you likely already have --
IGI marriage entry (extracted marriage record for the locality listed in the record)
Washington Honey, age 24/Sarah Reese, age 24 Marriage: 16 Dec 1866 Washtenaw Co MI

1870 Ingham Co MI Aurelius PO Mason
30/206/206 18 July 1870
Honey, Washington 27 m w farm laborer ---/450 NY cit
       Sarah 23 f w kh MI

1880 online (LDS family search) Blair, Washington Co NE pg 194a
Washington HANEY Self M Male W 34 NY Farmer ENG CAN
Sarah HANEY Wife M Female W 30 MI Keeps House ENG ENG
Cornelius YATES Other Male W 19 IA Farm Hand NY ---

I think you are the same Cindy who has put several Eaton County cemeteries online. Thank you for all your work. Best of luck in your search!
