My name is Michael Romzick and I am Trying to locate any long-lost relatives from the area of Ruth, Michigan. MY Great-Grandfather was August Romzick and was born in Ruth. He married Ida Sullivan and then moved to Detroit. His father was Mike Romzick, and his father was Mike Romzickowska, but the name has been spelled as Romszik, Romczik, Ronsick, and Romzickowska and Romzickowski. The only other info I have on them is that they were supposed to have come from Pomerania.
I am also related to the Staroska family, My Grandfather Lawrence married Mary Star(oska), daughter of Otto Staroska, who was married to a daughter of Landolin Tschirhart.
I do not know if I am related to the Romzek family or not.
Can anyone help? The names have changed so many times over the years that I am stuck. I can find info regarding the families in the 1870, 1880, 1nd 1890 cencus's but that is about it. If you have any relevant info regarding my ancestors please let me know. Thank you.
P.S. I do not have internet access at home so it I may not be able to respond immediately to any messages.
