Ruth, Donna A.
June 21, 1934 - July 18, 2008
Donna A. (Mousseau) Ruth, 74, of Marion, Ind., passed away at 3:50 a.m. on Friday, July 18, 2008 in Marion General Hospital.
She was born on June 21, 1934 in Kinde to the late Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Mousseau.
Mrs. Ruth was a graduate of Kinde High School. She married George R. Ruth on May 31, 1952. They moved to Marion in 1963 and together they had 5 children. Mrs. Ruth was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church. She worked for Father Joseph Grace at St. Paul Parrish and also worked for St. Martin DePorres Center. She was co-owner of the Whistle Stop Farm.
In addition to her husband, George, Mrs. Ruth is survived by three children, Dennis (Debbie) Ruth, Marion, Ind.; Lynette M. (Rob) Hocking of England; Edward N. (Donna) Ruth of Lewisbury, Pa.; 6 brothers, Maurice(Delores) Mousseau of Kinde, Dave (Nancy) Mousseau of Kinde, Jerome (Diane) Mousseau of Saginaw, Danny (Jennifer) Mousseau of Unionville, Joe (Teresa) Mousseau of Sterling, Larry (Cathy) Mousseau of Traverse City, three sisters, Georgina Blach of New Port Richey, Fla., Elaine (Frank) Schultz of Bad Axe, Suzanne (Tom) Stall of Bad Axe; daughter-in-law, Leah Butler; brother-in-law, Richard Dell' Acqua; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, Paul W. Ruth in 1986, and her daughter, Catherine Chapin in 2007; two sisters, Loree (Mousseau) Rice and Jeanette (Mousseau) Dell’ Acqua.
Funeral service was conducted on July 23 at St. Paul Catholic Church, 1009 Kem Road with Fr. Richard Weisenberger officiating.
