Anna Marie (Krozek) Peyok
June 6, 1927 - July 23, 2001
Anna Marie Peyok, 74, of Kinde died Monday, July 23, 2001, at Bay Medical Center in Bay City. She was born on June 6, 1927, in Rapson, daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Krozek. She and Sylvester Peyok were married on Nov. 7, 1959, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Rapson. Anna was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Dwight Township where she was an active member of the Rosary Sodality.
She loved to travel and visited 49 states, seven Canadian provinces, as well as parts of Mexico. Anna's many interests include gardening, quilting, canning, crocheting, sewing, and many other crafts.
She is survived by her husband, Sylvester "Sal"; son, Dennis Peyok and his wife, Pamela, of Gainesville, Va.; daughter, Laurie Peyok of Royal Oak; a granddaughter, Lyn Marie Peyok, a student at Michigan State University; two sisters, Jean Kolar and her husband, Jim, of Warren, Alice Hansen and her husband, Jay, of Jacksonville, Fla.; one brother, Ray Krozek, of Filion; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Leona Pollum and Eba Krozek; and four brothers, Edward, Bernard, Anthony, and Eugene Krozek.
A funeral mass will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 26,
2001, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Dwight Township. Fr. Stanley Surman will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. A rosary led by the Rosary Sodality
will be conducted at 7:30 p.m. today followed by a vigil service at 8 p.m. at the Knoblock Funeral Home in Kinde.
