William Trescott was city of Harbor beach clerk for years.
Yes there is a Trescott street in Harbor beach. When he
came from a Detroit Hospital, my aunt came to HB 1934 as his nurse. their home was 1/2 block from the huge catholic church but it has been taken down and the catholics use it as their parking lot. I remember it was red brick - almost 2 story. My aunt said they were very nice people.
Now - there are 2 cemeteries south of Harbor beach.
One is the catholic - Lady of Lake Huron and you have to check with their office on south 1st street for burials.
Otherwise - the Rock Falls Cemetery is next door but between south US-25 and Lake Huron. Their list is handled by Paul Holdwick who lives on his farm west about 2=3 miles.
I will be up in Harbor beach this coming May and would be happy to check on Mr. Trescott for you. My relatives are
buried at Rock Falls. let me know.
