This is making me nuts. I am researching John Wolschleger born 4-3-1841 in Germany, died in 1902 Huron County. Married Theresa Rose Kanthak 1852-1931. There is another John Wolschlager born about 1854 or 1858 who married a Marie/Matilda. DOES ANYONE KNOW THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THESE 2 MEN? HOW ABOUT THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THEM AND THE OTHER 2 FAMILIES THAT TRAVELED WITH THEM?

The ship’s passenger list shows: Johann Wollschlaeger age 40, farmer; Therese age 28; Therese, child age 7, Mathias, child age 5 (this would be my great grandmother, Matilda); August, child age 3 and Franz, infant age 6 months.

Johann Wollschlaeger, occupation unknown age 23; Marie age 22; and Martin child age 2.

Also accompanying them on the voyage were the August Wollschlaeger family and the August Mausolf family, shown as:
August Wollschlaeger, age 56, farmer; Elise age 52; Anna age 26; Michael age 18; August age 17; Susanne age 16; Marie, child age 7.

August Mausolf, age 41, occupation unknown; Therese age 38 (Therese’s maiden name was Wollschlaeger); Peter age 17; Anton age 15; August, child age 7 ½; Caroline, age 6; Therese, child age 4; Albert, infant age 6 months.
