Sorry- here is a corrected reply. You need to go to the website for SeekingMichigan (dot) org. The page will come up that will show 3 sections- Seek/Discover/Look. Click on the bottom of the 1st section where it shows advanced search. Up comes a new screen. Put his first name in the first box, and to the box on the right of that select the wording to first name. Then put his name in the second box, and change the wording to last name. Then in the lower left, pull the screen area down to the death records, click on that and then move it to the empty box on the right. This should get you his death cert., and you may have fun searching for more! The records are not all complete yet.
