I am searching for death date for Walter L. FUNK who m. Frances W. BELLAMY, dau. of Pomeroy and Caroline BELLAMY. Walter b. c1847, MI, was son of Moses FUNK b. c1814, PA. Walter's widow is listed on Civil War Veteran Schedule of 1890, which shows that Walter served in the Michigan 4th Infantry. Fannie Bellamy FUNK had married Warren VanALLEN, who is also listed as a CW veteran.
In 1870, Walter and Fannie with sons William and Albert are listed in Mishawaka, St. Joseph Co. Indiana, where Walter is listed as William. It is possible they had a 3rd son, Edward, b. c1875. Fannie and Warren VanAllen are married by 1886, so Walter died between 1870 census and 1886.
Francis Bellamy Funk Vanallen married/3rd John MANNING 20 Sept 1899, Hillsdale.
I'd like to exchange with anyone researching these families.
