David-this is a longshot!!!
Daniel Worden and wife Julia Stiles show up in the 1850 and 1860 federal censuses in Genesee Co.,Mich. I wonder if they were related to your Carlista.
They were married in 1836.I think they had a daughter named Julia in 1838 whom I believe was my ggrandmother. They came from NY and Mass.
Julia Stiles was a d/o Ephraim Stiles and Esther Moseley.
