I am hoping someone can help with my grandmother's birth record. She claimed to be born 23 Sept 1898 at Buckeye, MI. Her name was Lillie Ett Barcklay, daughter of James Orville and Mary Louise (Duby) Barcklay. The family (spelled Berkley in the index)was in census in Buckeye in 1900.

I have a certificate dated 15 Feb 1943 and notarized that states an original record of birth was not found at that time. This was just 9 months before she died, signed by Merle E Shell.

Also, on the 1900 census Mary is listed as having given birth to 5 children, 3 were living. I would like to find more information about these 2 lost children--gender, dates of birth and death and names if they were given. Calvin, Lewis and Lillie lived, but apparently 2 children did not.

I would appreciate any help.
